Around 3000 years ago, an incident happened with the King of Israel, King Solomon. <\/strong>Solomon was famous for his wise and patient decisions.

One day, two women came to his court, each claiming, \u201cThe child is mine.\u201d Everyone fell into deep thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then Solomon stood up, took the child in his arms, drew his sword, and loudly said,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will cut this child in two and give half to each of you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n


When he raised the sword, one of the women immediately cried out,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cStop! I was lying, give the child to her.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n


At that moment, everyone understood who the real mother was \u2014 the one willing to save the child\u2019s life, even if it meant giving the child away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


But here\u2019s the twist: the king who could make such wise decisions for others could not make the right decisions for himself in his own life.This phenomenon is known in psychology as<\/strong>Solomon\u2019s Paradox

It means<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can give thousands of pieces of advice to others, but when it comes to ourselves, we often fail to find the right solution.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n


The reason for this is fear, ego, doubt, attachment, comfort habits, and other emotions, which prevent us from thinking logically for ourselves.

A simple way to overcome this<\/strong>:

1. Write your problem on paper.
2. Then imagine it is someone else\u2019s problem and read it again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


This allows you to think with both emotion and reason.
